Secondary smog pump mod done. Cali Raised ditch lights and amber fog lights installed with On off switches installed in 2 of 3 factory blank slots!
I have a 17 4x4 4cyl 5spd SR with the convenience package. I tried looking around where the fog lights are suppose to be but can't find any harness/wiring to plug in fog lights. I thought if I had the SR with convenience package I was pre wired?

Hi, I decided to bump this rather than start another thread.?

ALL I want to know is how to Easily (no disassembly) only CONFIRM if my truck is pre wired for Fogs or not ??? I know there are a number of thread on the Fog Light adds - but they they are long and tedious to read through - and often have conflicting answers - searching has not brought an answer either ...

My New Ride - 2020 Tacoma Access Cab SR only with SX Package (black out stuff and wheel upgrade). . 4x4 AT. I4 This has the rear seats installed and is not the "Utility" version. Is it pre wired or not ???

Where specifically should I look to prove the harness is there (without disassembly of the dash/steering column, etc)?? IS there a visible wire harness, plug socket I can check to get a definitive answer ??? I assume I'll have to wire a switch to the dash so not to screw with the blinker switch stalk/steering column wiring ?

    Thanks All in advance.

Just started compiling my parts to install, quick question, what's the size of the steering wheel nut, I wanna grab the right tools from my job before going home and realizing I grabbed the wrong stuff. I believe I saw "30ish mm" hah anyone confirm?
Not that big. I think it was 19mm not really 100% but it's close of not 19mm

Did you ever figure it out? I am in same boat. 2022 SR 4x4 with SX and convenience package. I read the thread posted but I don't want to remove steering wheel cover. I have a relay installed for Fog lights in fuse box. Is that an indicator? THANKS

I did not find that my sr SX was NOT prewired. I looked a number of kits - but the cheap ones I did not like and the expensive ones required steering wheel disassembly. This was a while ago - so this may have changed. But I never added the fog lights. Try search or look here?
