I've got a 2021 DCOR with the JBL package. I think this should work with Android Auto without any 3rd party adapter box. I haven't had any luck setting it up, so I'm either doing it wrong, or this head unit doesn't have that feature.
Can anyone confirm that this should work?

I have a 2019, with the older unit, BUT I believe I have read the new ones still require a wire,,, if that's what you are after.
Go to Toyota's site, you can DL a copy of the owner's manual and take a deeper dive.

Ah the owners manual. Hadn't thought to look there. Wireless would be ideal, but I'd take a wired connection to start

Wired to USB Data port on lower center dash should work.
For wireless, you need an adapter.

Yup, I went out and plugged in to the dash port and it just worked. I must have only tried the console the last time. I don't need wireless so I'm good.
    Thanks!
