How Do I Mount Chrome Wheel Skins?

I figured out you have to remove the center cap, but I'm not sure if you just push them on. They have tabs at each wheel opening but nothing around the edge like a typical wheel cover. So, should I just hit them with the back of my palm to get them on?

Please resist the urge to tell me to buy $500 alloys!
