@Jetboy818 ride quality did stiffen up quite a bit from when I had 3 and 4 threads showing. As mentioned on here, feels like I have no down travel what so ever with that much preload on the coils. That, i don't like. I can deal with the stiffness. If you're looking to go that high, i recommend NOT doing it. Now I am running the full OME Heavy Duty leafs. Was running the 1.5 Icon AAL but sagged quite a bit when loaded. Reason for my upgrade.

In my experience it's always the inner boots that rub apart, at least that's what's happened to me a few times. If the inners are rubbing I'd lower it down some.

@twitchhero I am adjusting them ASAP. Probably within the next few days when I have time. I will definitely let you know. Planning on going down to 8 driver and 6 or 7 passanger. After reading through numerous threads here that seems to be the middle ground for bigger tires, ride quality, and clearance. But... every truck is different.

@eon_blue 10-4, lowering them ASAP because my inner boot fins do rub a smidge.

That's the best move IMO. I don't know about 3rd gens, but on my 1st gen a diff drop was next to worthless...hardly made a difference if at all. All a diff drop does is it tilts your front diff downward and puts more strain on the bushings...doesn't really 'drop' anything. I don't advise diff drops personally but some say they're worth it.

@eon_blue yes, I've read that diff drops work for some and some dont on 3rd gens. Most recommend staying away from them. Infact, I've heard people adding them as a "preventative measure" when nothing was wrong in the first place but when they added it, vibes started happening. So for that, I'm staying away and just lowering it some.
