how do these tacomas sealed transmission hold up

    2007 tacoma TRD SR5 prerunner
    i have a 2007 tacoma im concerened that the sealed transmissons are no good the dealership sd u cant service them...so what can i do to make it last I think they should be able to change the tranny fluid and adding fluid to it not sure if i like that....that would be like having a sealed engine u cant change the oil in....what r ur thoughts

    They need to be serviced

    I just did mine and the fluid was black and disgusting

    Many !
    Drain and fill 4-5 times in a few months 3.2 qts each time ! Be sure to use proper ATF Fluids,mine takes a WS Type, and I used all 100% Full synthetic AMSOIL WS ATF.
