My truck has 200 miles on it and I'm trying to get a friend to go out to Prairie City OHV area with me this weekend. I can't wait to get her dirty. I have a sports car that I drive fast, so in my lower horsepower truck, I drive slowly on pavement. I need to get it in the dirt so I can play. If I can get out there, I'll take some pictures to share.

I use my truck as a truck. I haul, I pull, and I play in the mud. The truck is built like a Golden Greek God. I love it and have not been disappointed yet.

My truck wasn't even a day old and I hit the trail with it. I bought it to offroad with, so thats what I'm going to do with it. Granted I baby it as much as I can, and the first few times a branch scraped down the side I almost cried. My sig pic was at about 4k miles.

I kept my truck clean for a week or two. Took it camping in a real remote area back behind some ranch somewhere, drove it through a creek, some mud. Got it over some sticks in the way n stuff. Then i had to go and test the clearance of course. Wound up leaving it in the bushes for 5 days until i could hire a minihoe and operator to come and pull my truck, the other truck (that got stuck trying to get me out), and the skidsteer i had rented (Also stuck) out of the mud.

BTW I used to TRY to wheel my JETTA. I was tired of getting that stuck, so i bought my Taco and started getting it stuck instead. Anyway, I do love my Taco, but I did buy it for recreational purposes, so thats what im using it for.

Guess what vote i chose?? (Gold stars will be awarded.)

Was my first brand new car, as in drove off the lot with less than 10 miles. Babied it for the first 750, then took it round trip to the grand canyon and back with all my guy friends, and now I treat it like a truck. Already at 10k and only 5mo old.

Hit the trails within the first 500 miles in the new 2011, taking it pretty easily to figure out how all the vsc/ auto lsd, 4x4 ect. stuff worked since my old 2007 didn't have any of it. Just did a little more intensive wheeling and really put all the systems to the test (hole in the front skid plate due to lack of clearance) and put some minor desert pin striping into the clear coat. 7500 miles to date. It's a truck, and a damn good one at that. I'm not trying to break it, but it will be used, not babied. Definitely need some trail armor to help protect it when things get a little hairy though.

I'm only a couple of weeks in, so mine is still being babied. I do plan to show her the ropes eventually though..hopefully I don't get my non-TRD, 2x4 driving ass stuck!
