    Yeah, I know. But I still ask, maybe some day someone will screw up and order some.

    My only thing with Rotopax is I don't get spending $100 or more to carry 2 gallons of gas

    Did they start putting guards in to stop that? Do you know when that started? because when I was working uniform there were plenty of people who reported having fuel siphoned from their trucks overnight. I guess it's still a viable option for many of the vehicles on the road. Good to know though.

    thanks for the info. i have a soft topper, having a small tank of gas in the bed sure does give me a piece of mind, which is the only reason i ask about the safety and longevity of keeping it in my bed.... I would never keep a full tank in there longer than a week or two

    I use two 4 gallon roto-pax mounted on my Expedition One swing out tire carrier on my FJ Cruiser. These things are made well and can be bought in several sizes and can be mounted flat. They have a built in spout as well. I will find some way or putting a few in the bed of my Taco when I pick it up. The best prices I have found for them are on E-Bay. When I am on empty in the FJ the two 4 gallon give me almost half a tank.
