I see lots of rv/trailer fires. I have never seen a tank explode. I've seen some that blow the safety valves and turn into a big fountain of fire. What scares me is the safety valve releasing inside an enclosed vehicle and displacing the air in the cabin and suffocating. They do explode, no doubt, I've just never seen it.

Indeed they do.......we saw (from a great distance) an RV trailer fire in a camp we were in that ended up engulfing more than 15 tanks in the fire....
All of them were charred and some Im sure we're starting to bulge buy the time the FD got there.

Not a single one exploded. I've seen MANY a video where they did, but making an LP tank explode like that is harder than most everyone thinks.

I use a Quick Fist Ratchet strap. I had to slightly modify the holes in order for it to work with the track. Best part it was only $25.

I've seen a lot with the entire valve melted off...can only imagine the fountain of fire coming out of that. We got to one mh fire about the time rounds (ammo) started cooking off. We all just ducked behind a fire engine. Afterward we all figured no projectiles were flying but it sounded cool.

Got to wonder who over filled the tank it's time to stop filling when it starts to spit propane from the expansion valve. Liquid propane is dangerous it expanse 270 times in size when the pressure is removed.
