Welcome to TW? How the heck is this your first post on a 3 year old thread. I'm just amused and curious at the sequence of events that led up to this.

I was actually looking around online to see if there's any aftermarket handle or something I can install by the drivers door to help me get into my truck before I get it lifted.. (I have a problem with my leg, but have the undeniable need to be a few inches higher in my truck) and came across this thread. Decided to sign up since I'm going to start modding my truck. Found nothing so far, decided to contribute useful info.

Since this thread got revived, here’s an update on what I did. I put the Fold a way license plate step on there and put the license plate on a hinge so it still shows when the hitch stinger is in. The step works really good. I made a custom stinger that goes out just past the step. The company made that step in plastic and aluminum. That one is the plastic one. It flexes a little bit, but not bad. I have since bought the aluminum one.
