My silver Xterra was great at hiding scratches and dirt. My black Tacoma looks great, 5 times a year when i wash and wax. The other 360 days, blah.

I went with silver because my last truck was silver and it was so easy to keep clean with just a basic car wash.
I have had black, white, green, blue, and grey trucks. My second choice would be white. I think all the Toyota colors are really sharp like cement, quicksand, and inferno but I am lazy and wanted as clean as I could with as little effort.

I second the silver. Always looks good. Easy to hide scratches/Dents. I keep mine waxed but nobody ever believes me that it's a 2005.

But the 3rd post really nailed it.

I wanted white....wanted a white car/truck and something Options/Availability, etc, always kept me from getting color I wanted on previous vehicles. So this time I was firm.

I went with black this time, last taco was silver. I have a love/hate with the black. It looks amazing, clean or dirty, but every time I wash it and look very closely at the paint swirls and every tiny scratch it drives me crazy. My second choice would have been Barcelona Red, I kick myself occasionally but overall happy with the black.

Don't dry it with a towel. 2 bucket method. Foam gun. Good wax / sealant. No swirls.

I don't think they offer that color any more.

OP, you could get @kuffer14, and do this great color

Honestly, I am not a fan of the color options, except for the Cement. I wish they kept a green option as that is what I would have gotten, but I went with the MGM, so I would encourage you to chose another color.

Cement is my favorite Tacoma color too, the only problem is I cannot afford a Pro... BTW do you like MGM, is it hard to keep clean or show dirt easy?

I do like it, I think it shows dirt more than my green did. But I like it when the green was dirty. That being said, the other day my father-in-law made a comment about how clean it looked, while I thought it looked like ass.

Oh and I can't afford the Pro either, but if I had seen the cement color when I ordered my truck, I would have gotten the cement.

I love the Silver I have on my 15, its my 3rd Silver Tacoma in a row. If I were to go ahead with a 17 for some reason the only 2 color choices they will offer is MGM and Quicksand so I would end up going MGM.

I ordered mine, so I chose the MGM as my best choice. Don't like white vehicles, Black shows too much, not a fan of the quicksand (does look nice though), and silver just sounds flashy to me. I considered the Orange, but couldn't see looking at it every day. The red is nice, but I don't need anything that makes me look like I am going faster than I already am. So MGM was what was left. Honestly, if the family didn't need more cab space the color choices or lack of what I liked may have stopped me from getting a new one. I think I drove the salesman up a wall when it came to colors. He would make a suggestion and my response was pretty much I don't think so. He almost had me in a blue they had on the lot, but I just kept seeing blue taco's everywhere so that one was out.

I do admit to looking at my MGM Sport truck and smiling.

Had a black truck before, too hard to keep looking nice, I'm not a huge fan of flashy colors on a truck....quicksand I could never do after someone scarred me for life by saying it looks like explosive dog diarrhea all over the carpet, and white was ok but just a little too plain. So I narrowed it down to MGM or silver, got MGM because it was what was on the delivery truck when I finally found the configuration I wanted.

A lot of people have the idea that white is easier to match, but any expert in paint knows it can be one of the hardest.
