I'm just curious where people live where they don't have 6 stations to listen to between FM and AM? I had 18 with Sirius, but recently paired it down to 12 because I realized I didn't need that many.

how fast did you replace the battery? if you leave it off over night I think it will purge the settings. I know on my 4runner after a day everything reset, same on the sons 15 camry when his battery died after 1 year.

It was less than 15 minutes. I know the mileage trips reset, and dtc reset. But, ya, it was a relatively short period of time.

Amazing that there's not a way to delete a station other than to override it with another station.

there is I think that is part of the PDI before a vehicle is sold to a customer, but I am not privy to that info. maybe a Toyota tech could chime in if that is in the PDI process.

I know there is quite a few things that need to be initialized on delivery of a new vehicle.

Why wouldn't you just take it down to 6 stations in the settings?

Like they said, don’t you permanently lose all the stations?
Also, cause I only listen to like two stations. I mainly use the Bluetooth connection for music from my phone

You could do the same thing you are doing, but with 6 stations, instead of 20.

After 50K miles I’m used to the power train (V6 automatic) but this still drives me nuts. It’s really hard when you’re traveling, since you’re unable to quickly and easily change presets for local stations. Of course I come from the era of tuning knobs and station presets that were mechanical switches: pull to set, push to select.
