    I just recently tried a microfiber drying towel for the first time and so far, I like it better than the chamois.

    I have tried regular microfibers in the past and they didn't absorb very much water. In fact, the water practically beaded up on them! This one is very soft and plush and works great wet or dry. Plus it is machine-washable and even cheaper than the chamois.

    I use an absorber for the vehicles and the dogs (I have one for each :D)

    I tried a microfiber that I got from auto-geek or one of those other on-line places (can't remember which one), but the towels are just TOO big and didn't seem to do that good of a job. WAY too hard to wring out. Got wet super fast and stayed wet. Left lots of water behind.

    Might try one of those blades some of you guys use

    I have been using a micro-fiber towel I bought at Advanced Auto a few months ago. I got 10 16" towels for $8.

    When I wash the truck, I work on the wheels while the rest is air drying. When I'm done with the wheels, I go over the whole truck with the MF towel. It is damp enough that it wipes away any water marks but not too wet that I have to ring out the towel. It also catches any missed dirt because the MF towel is slightly abrasive.

    We all have our own systems but it's nice when you find one that works well for you!
