Redline D6 tranny fluid. Redline gear oils in front and rear diffs. Bug shield and rain gaurds. Mossy Oak seat covers until I can afford the Wet Os.
Leaf blower from the top down and then a micro fiber towel. The blower really gets all the water out of the place that harbor water (mirrors).

I use the absorber, found it to work pretty well. Just out of curiosity, what is chamois?

Its a soft (usualy synthetic these days but originally leather) cloth specifically for car drying. As always, Google or Wiki can tell you much, much more on the history and its other uses.

I used to use a chamois, but now I just use 2 different sponges (real ones, not the fake ones) 1 for the paint, and 1 for the lower painted areas and the wheels. Now I find a chamois more of a pain than they're worth...and I should mention my paint isn't like it was when it was new.

The Absorber is the only way to go. I have hade the same one for about 9 years and it works like new. I use it with "The Original California water Blade" and you cant beat the combo. They dont scratch the paint, and I can't believe how fast and easy I can dry my truck. I know this sounds like a sales pitch, but it's not, it's just what I have used forever.
