I have a tendancy to speed so the one time I borrowed one I was too tempted and went WAY WAY over... so now I don't let myself even near one. Granted I cut the travel time down an hour and a half...
Not knowing where and when the po-po can strike keeps me a safe driver... and then when I get pulled over I can pull the girl-card. ;)

If you really are 15- You are a moron.

You passed your driving paper and practical tests- Good for you. You have like 50-60 good years of driving ahead of you...That's the real test. You aren't doing anything that hasn't been done before and believe me- You will get caught at some point.

Slow down and drive reasonable before you get into an accident or get enuf tickets to lose your license.

this is a recipe for disaster

youre GOING to get caught...its not a matter of if...its a matter of when

at your age...you also dont have the driving experience to be able to safely handle an emergency situation at those speeds...

you NEED to slow down...youre putting your life...and everyone around you's life at risk when you drive like that

speed limits are not a right...they are a suggestion of the MAXIMUM safe speed for that area of roadway on a CLEAR DRY day with no traffic

you should adjust your speed accordingly dependent on weather and traffic conditions

try telling a trooper you "were going with the flow of traffic"

goes back to that line parents love "if everyone was jumping off a cliff...would you?"

just because everyone else is exceeding the speed limit does NOT make it right for you to do so

if you hate the "inconvenience" of driving slow...wait till you have the "inconvenience" of getting cut out of that precious truck by the jaws of life...then transported to ER in an ambulance...and then major medical bills and exorbitant insurance rates...wait till you get to experience the "inconvenience" of sitting in court awaiting trial on reckless homicide or manslaughter charges...because you were too "inconvenienced" by the posted speed limit and wrecked your truck killing an innocent person...

I have the V1, the best of all the ones I tried. I don't use it to look out for cops so I can drive it like a rental. I have a heavy foot and tend to just cruise 5-10 mph over. So if I pick up the slightest radar, I let off the gas and chill. I am looking for a laser jammer though =]

Like I said man...You aren't doing anything new- Every teenager thinks they need to pace traffic or just get where they are going or whatever...And it builds habit patterns that follow you thru life. So you find yourself on an empty road going somewhere and realize you are doing 80 or 85 again...cause it's what you always did.

Do what you want...but realize that it'll be a matter of time before something goes wrong and consequences can be severe
