How do you get your dirtbike to fit in your DCSB?

nah i think its strong enough, its deff stiffer than my T100's gate

 

yep.. i have a reg cab (6foot bed) and my dad has a DC (5foot bed) and no way in hell will you get it to fit. him and i were looking at getting one of these but i got my truck. Pretty penny but im assuming great quality.

but what exactly are you worried about? i know you said gravel roads, but what about them?

 

I've hauled a 4-wheeler quite a few miles with the gate down, on all types of roads, and there not a single ding on it. Not saying it can't happen, but I think your over thinking it.

but honestly, I wouldn't worry about rocks kicking up and dinging it.. do you have mud flaps?

I took my mud flaps off and have driven on gravel and dirt roads and I don't have any dings or scratches from rocks kicking up anywhere at all on the truck...

I have front and rear flaps and rock chips , I can hear them whizzing off my door and rocker panels

even if i drive 500 miles on gravel and end up with only 1 chip on the gate its still not worth it to me cause it was something that could have been prevented, im pretty anal about things that can be prevented. If my truck catches a rock on the hwy and chips my bumper, not a huge deal cause theres not to much I could have done to avoid it from happening

 

Hey nut, have you considered a hitch mount to haul your dirt bike with?

 

ive thought about that too.. my dad has one and really likes it. I might look into one next sunmmer, i think im just gonna pull my trailer for now though

 

I wonder if they make a sled deck to fit a Tacoma, then you can haul your toys around like the big boys

I've hauled a dirtbike many miles on gravel roads with my tailgate down and never noticed any rock chips on the tailgate. A rock would have to do a serious curve ball to hit an open tailgate.
