    Lost Humanity provided great advice.
My sleep problem has always been associated with over stimulation, just too much going on in my head before bed. I do my best to prevent this which helps tremendously.

As for meds, I don't like the idea of having to rely on them to fall asleep so I stay away from them. Plus regardless of how many hours of sleep I get, they always seem to make things more difficult for me the next morning (grogginess).

Following the great advice offered from fellow members and sticking to a schedule (try to go to bed the same time each night) should help. If not you can always seek advice from a doctor.

    Good luck!

By the way ZZZZ are super important, lack of sleep can really mess with you in a lot of ways. I'm a total ahole with little sleep.

Well, you do what you have to do. However, if I'm on that stuff and I'm on TW late at night, I sometimes post stuff I wouldn't normally post. I try to monitor myself. Oh well...

Nobody seemed to mention anything about Sleep Apnea. If you snore or choke you may not be getting rem sleep. Get a sleep study done at a sleep clinic. You may need a cpap machine. I never make it past the count of thirty, I'm out. No drugs (for sleep) needed.....
