How do you keep your rear slider window locked?

    It would take a pretty small person to squeeze through the opening even if they got it open, my big ass head would barely fit.

    I think that either way nothing is going to stop someone from getting through the window. You could always put a metal bar across the back window and reinforcing it somewhere. This is the only thought I got in the time that I have read this thread.

    My '94 toyota pickup had the rear window with two sliding pieces that slid together to close. One day I noticed the aluminum frames were gouged up from someone trying to pry the windows apart with a screwdriver. They never got in so the latch by itself did it's job.

    The new Tacoma's look like they'd be even harder to pry open with just the one sliding piece.

    I keep mine locked with the power sliding window mod :D

    If they want to get in to your truck that bad, they are going to be breaking some glass. Simple as that.

    What about having a piece of metal going to the bottom of the window and something sticking out to stop it from moving. Having something locking it and when the person wants to use it, unlock it and move the window.
