As we've already covered, a tsb is not a recall. So when you ask that question, do you mean "what are the stipulations to getting tsb done under warranty? If so, then you have to be under warranty to have warranty work done.

They will gladly follow the instructions in the tsb and charge you for the work if you are out of warranty.

Not taken as mean. I bought the truck used with 100,000. I read a post that said that each TSB had a different expiration according to the mileage. So i was wanting to know if all expired with the factory warranty.

It would depend what part of the vehicle the tsb gave instructions to fix. If its power train, it would be 50k, but if not, just 36k.

Which tsb in particular are you wanting to know about?

The one that messes with the shift points came out in 2009 and I believe only covers later 2nd gens.

When at the dealer picking up my truck saturday i asked about TSB's, they had never heard them called that. I mentioned the 4th leaf addition and they talked to the service dept. Came back and said they had done this but don't think it applied to double cabs...any truth to this?

Technical Service Bulletins are issued by the manufacturer to help dealer service departments identify and fix problems that are consistent with customer complaints. TSBs are not meant for the consumer. Saying this, TSBs do exist and the harsh ride TSB relates to double cabs and access cabs that experience a harsh ride condition when loaded.

So where does one get a printable version to take to the dealer to show them?

There is a thread that has some pdfs. I recommend paying $15 for a three day use of the TIS site. You can then see and download all of the TSBs issued for your model year.

I am running into the issue where my leaf's squeak horribly bad. Started at 15,000 miles. I now have 25,000 miles on it, got in 14 months ago. ( i drive a lot ) I see the TSB to get this fixed but I called the dealer and they said there was not one. How do I go about fixing this besides cleaning and using lithium grease every month? Not to mention the one time I loaded it down the truck felt like it going to lift off the road it was so bouncy.

Print out the TSB from here and take it to them? I believe that's what others would suggest...
