I have 2018 Automatic and am an idiot. How can I keep track of when it changes gears, and what gear I am in?

You can't except to try to track it yourself. The only thing you can know for sure is if you put it in S mode. You know it will never shift past what you limit it to. IE S5 will never go to 6th (S2 would not go to 3 unless it needed to avoid damage to the engine due to excessive RPM)

    There isn't one.

Get a phone mount near the dash, oder the Carista OBD2 Bluetooth Reader. Download OBD Fusion app for your phone. Buy the extra connectivity pack.
    Total Cost: about 45$.

Use The fusion app when your driving to see instant fuel economy, misfires, gears, instant info for any sensors on the truck.

This is my "Dash" it's totally customizable.

    Nice use of the dashboard!

I've not tried layering the "gauges" like that...

Lol I think it might be a bit much to display on one screen sometimes the fuel economy does not work.

My daily drive to work is over a hilly stretch of interstate.

It never stays in any gear for long. It'd be pointless for me to attempt to track it.
