How do you like the black, cloth interior?

As I'm shopping for my new truck, I personally really like the black cloth interior as opposed to the "Cement Gray" fabric. I'm finding it a little challenging, but not impossible, to find trucks with the black fabric. While I like the leather interior option, I'm not willing to spend the $$$ for the difference.

For those of you who have the back, cloth interior...how do you like it? Do you think it shows dirt more or less than the gray?

    How is the fabric durability?

    Thank you,
    Ed

I didn't care for the fabric or color of the seats in my 2016, so I installed Clazzio covers fairly quickly.

If you are shopping for any TRD model, I believe they all have black seats.

We find our Boxers' hair sticks to the black seats badly. I believe this is a common complaint. Over than that, we like them fine.

I have had both colors. Black looks better. The gray stained easily, I think one of my seats got stained from rain hitting it.

I liked the black but installed seat covers anyway. Just get whatever color and put some clazzios over top.

Beige or tan interior is the worst for showing dirt. Actually, I should say it’s the best at showing dirt.

I came here to say this - it is like the hair gets woven in. I have a 2nd gen and I had to order it to get the tan interior. I ended up getting katzkins installed.

The factory cloth interior sucks...I went katzkin black off eBay with a 20% coupon cost was like $460 installed it myself wasn’t too bad. I love the end result!

I just sold (last week) my 2004 Tacoma that had the gray interior and I was pretty surprised at the durability and how clean it "looked". I'm sure if I steam cleaned the interior, it would have looked significantly different, but it *looked* clean.

For me, I just don't like the gray color...I'm leaning toward the black.

I like my black interior. My white german shepherds hair likes to stick to it in the back but I solved that pretty easily with one of those pet seat covers from Amazon.

My 1st Gen Tundra was the same way. Grey cloth interior that held up incredibly well for 18 years.

New Tacoma has black cloth interior, and I like it a lot more. I saw a Limited Tacoma with leather seats and it just didn't look right/appealing to me.

    Bro,
Those seat covers are BEAUTIFUL! Are they as comfortable as they look?

I have the black cloth interior. I think it hides dirt well but I clean up often. The black interior along with the tinted windows makes it almost impossible to see into the Taco. That's a good thing. But I gotta' look into the katzkin product that Ronzio is rockin'.

I live in a pretty dusty area and the black cloth shows dust a lot. I used to have an 07 with tan interior that didn't show the dust at all

I have a gray interior as well (mine is cloth). And I was surprised when one of my kids put their drink back into the cup holder too hard a small drop ended up staining the front seat.

My previous truck had a gray interior too and had no issues with stains or anything. The fabric is different though and am not sure if it's the type of material or something that makes it more prone to staining.

I trust you sold the kid to gypsies for such an infraction on your Taco... right?
