How do you make stock bumpstops softer?

I'd totally just swiss cheese them. If you're replacing them anyway, what's it gonna hurt? I don't think you'd get much benefit drilling vertical though. I'd just try to make it look honeycombed from the side. If you try it, be sure to post up the results. I'm curious to hear about it.

I might do this just for the hell of it, and if it messes them up then I can tell the wife i need new ones bc toyota put faulty bump stops on my truck

then I'll be hittin those speed bumps and dips faster than eva'...haha

Are these worth the money? What I mean is are these bump stops really much softer than the stock ones?

 

they are suppose to be made from a softer rubber. there was a thread posted from wheelers talking about them somewhere on here

haha hell yea man, i even got air on a dip by my house the other day, scared the hell out of me.

 

lol there is a crazy "on ramp" jump to a church parking lot here. Ive got air on it a few times. I did it in my 93 chevy (bone stock) and my battery went flying and nearly ended up in my motor fan haha
