How about adding the autolock lock.
The one that goes on the brake pedal.
And also put the steering wheel lock too, plus the alarm.
    Just my idea..

I know lojack has the early warning systems where they will call you if the car moves/ window is busted.

If you dont want the entire vehicle stolen, a fuel cut off switch hidden somewhere is always good. A GPS tracking system would also be good ( they sell little kid watch type GPS systems that can be hidden in your car and monitored on the internet for fairly cheap. )

    Full coverage insurance also.

Thats about all you can do my friend. If someone wants to break in or steal it bad enough and they have the knowledge, then even the above would only slow them down marginally. Really i think the GPS/lojack type system is the way to go.

    +1

Also, park in your front yard and use ultrasonic sensors to switch on lights when movement is detected. May seem like overkill but I expect for times to get really bad.

I came out of my house the other day and my fuel door was open. Thank God for locking gascaps. I now have infrared light sources for my security cameras.

I've got locking lug nuts and an alarm system, but if I caught someone breaking into it..might have to break out the Remington 770...just to scare them away.

use an inline fuse to your ignition system. remove the fuse when you get out of the truck. the vehicle can not start without the fuse. lowjack and trunkmonkey are good ideas as well. replace your factory horns with the big ass hella horns. i think even the dead would get mad at that one :D

how about an alarm with a pager system? hell, place a camera from your home and keep an eye on your truck. at least if it gets messed with, you have them on video as well

There is another way to get your Taco secured. Get a part time job plus your present one, and move in a better neighborhood.
    Take care

Just a bunch of old crap
Park in a garage and keep your insurance up to date. Never leave anything visible in your truck, and tint the windows. Thieves are created when an opportunity presents itself, so remove the opportunity and you remove the thief.

I almost don't mind getting broken into now because my insurance is so good I usually end up better off and with better stuff, even after paying a deductible.

I would splice in a hidden kill switch into your ignition wiring and hide it under your dash. If you really want to get crazy you can get a console vault and route the switch inside of it. You can also get two different types of locking lugs on each wheel and keep both locking keys inside the console vault. FYI a full size 1911 will just fit inside the vault if you angle it just right.
