I wanted to ask some input from those in the know before I screw around and break something.

I want to remove my front passenger side door panel. Sounds like I have something loose in there or something that needs to be tightened down. It vibrating like hell on the highway at 60 mph speed/revs.
Need to get inside and take a peak.

Do I need any special tools to do this??

For my rattle/vibration noise? Yea I had it removed a while ago. It's not the culprit.

Sorry I didn't take off the door panel, but I had a little rattle in the switch panel on the driver's door and bass mekanik helped me find where the noise was originating . There is a youtube video than runs from 10Hz-100Hz in 1Hz increments. Find the frequencies that excite it, and play it while you dampen and push on things. Good luck

Glad you tracked it down. Now the harder part is making it stop.

I didn't take it apart myself because when I took it in for the 5k service, I took the tech for a ride for another issue. I had a chat with him and told him I realize how much of a pain in the ass it is to track down/resolve and whatnot, and that I would really appreciate it if he could take a look so I don't break any tabs. He hooked it up... took the switch plate off on the drivers side and put some felt/vibration damper under it so it fits tighter. So far so good shrug_d9522f35eaca84c4ea2a46f1d684b2bc671972b8.gif
