I just bought a Yakima HD Overhaul and wondering how you store the towers and crossbars (or other bed rack) in your garage when not being used? Looking for pictures if you have them

Just trying to organize and avoid my wife saying “What is all the black metal *#%£ doing around my car?” TIA.

I leave them on the truck. I take the kayak saddles and cargo box off off season and when not needed. You never know when you'll need them.

ETA- I guess you figured I meant I leave the racks on the shell and take the accessory mounts off (the bike rack does stay mounted most of the time). I've had a couple of good roadside finds that I was able to grab because of the rack since the shell lives on the truck (I camp out of it a good bit so there's always camping gear in the back) and it limits what will fit or I just don't want to put something in the back with my camping gear (ex. I remember finding a Werner ladder that had fallen off a truck on the side of the road but it had fire ants on it).
