I took the climate controls panel off with a screwdriver wrapped in a shop cloth and went from there.

    +1 for that....

I used tape personally, but its how its prescribed in the service manual. I just carefully popped both bottom tabs out with the screwdriver (its frustrating sometimes because you'll get one out, then while you're popping the other one, the first one will reclip haha)

Once you get the climate controls out, theres 4 10mm bolts holding it in. Pull them and you're good to go!

Slow and steady wins the race (and avoids scratching your plastics)

    You'll be fine!!

    SCREW THEM!

Oooh theirs 4 clips holding in the AC controls

But they never show you the clips!
I HAD 8 Butter Knifes SHOVED INTO IT!!! 8!!! and it didn't work!

    soo...
I completely dismanteled the factory cd player (I mean completely nothing but a metal box with a circuit board) (And I removed a circuit board)

Then You can just push on the ac from the opposite direction and it pushes right out

    SCREW TACO TUNES!!!
