I have 2 Golden Retrievers....They ride in the back seat.If some dog hair bothered me ,I wouldn't have dogs. Just need a good way to get dog hair removed when I want it CLEAN.

well we maybe taking are dogs(well i know at least one but maybe all 3) to SC, about 5.5h drive. if we take the gradhound she will ride in my truck. because my back seat is bigger than dads tundra. just got to think of a way to try and keep hair down. lol i’ll have to vac it after we get back for sure. this will be the longest time she has gone for a ride. most time is just to the yet or something.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335095448.851438.jpgHe's a backseat rider in one of those slings. Since this picture I have unbolted and removed the seat bottom on the pass side to give him some more room. He's an old boy and doesn't turn around as easily anymore.

She has a bed set up in the backseat. But she does whatever she wants.

Thanks, I'll tell him you said so! :) He's the best bud a guy could ask for!

We do a lot of night trips to the beach so I just got him a dog hammock for the back seat so he's not too wet/cold in the bed. It's got a leash that buckles him into the seat belt and everything. He loves it! Much safer way to ride for long trips too.

This is Jager. I have 2 of those hammocks. One for the back seat and one for the back of the front seats. I cut a piece of carpet so he doesn't slide around. I also have a harness for him attached to the LATCH hooks behind the seat. That helps a lot when we're on bumpy 4x4 trails.

She's usually in the back, I fold down the access cab seats and have a bed in there for her, but if there's nobody else in the truck she rocks the front seat

awesome thread. my shepherd prefers to guard the bed, unless its too hot then i have to convince her to ride in the cab.

when she was a puppy, she rode shotgun all the time. i would joke about how "yea and one of these days her ears are gunna touch the ceiling!" well, they did, and now with a little me tagging along, the cab's a bit crowded for her.

hope im not getting off topic, but reallisticaly, how are the males? i have no experience with them at all, my female is fixed and has always been rather calm, laid back and passive toward other people. she plays tough with strangers but would never follow through. except for bums and other dogs lol.

thinking of getting a male, but am afraid of one being too aggressive. are they a handful or is that something that gets trained into them?

Mine is very laid back when we're just chillin. But don't come near his "mom" (my ex gf). He's very protective when she's around. I'm his master. When it's just him and I, he doesn't really mind people. He has to warm up to you. He truley is a one person type of dog. He likes my family but he will always be "my" dog. He is fixed but we did it a little too late, so he has a lot of testosterone in him. He's a lover not a fighter, but he doesn't love you automatically.

I'm glad I found this thread.

I have 2 dogs so they gotta go in the bed but I'm looking for a zip line of some sort for the bed thats strong enough for 2 dogs and won't let them get too close to the edge. Any ideas?
