I have a "Hammock" made out of waterproof nylon that slings from the headrests of front seats to the headrests of the back seats in my access cab. water mud and diarrhea proof. 55lb golden retriever loves it.

A small handful of select mods.
What kind of dogs? My two German Sheps hang in the back seat on the same as this ^^ and some custom platforms I built. In the state of Colorado it is illegal for animals to be in the bed unless they are secured in a kennel for transport.

I fold the rear seats down for my gsd. We nobly the double seat. The single I can't fold down, too much stuff back there.

my lady travels with me in comfort. got a shell specifically for her, thin carpet on the floor, thick foam bed with blankets. shell windows open for maximum time with head and tongue flapping in the wind.

    extra info:
    - 60" hi-lift mounted with 4xrac bolted to the side of the bed (doublecab shortbed).
    - quickfist clamps for the shovel.
    - ome 885 and dakars, so she needs a chair to climb into the back.
    - sockmonkey yeti rescue bed decals. dog helps with the yeti rescues.
    - all mods done with the help of TW forums. thanks a bunch, peoples.

dog goes everywhere with me. left side of the bed, right outside the sliding shell window, is covered in slobber...permanently.

Here is Maple riding on the console like normal, even with my bag in-place to keep her in the back.

Excuse the unmanly flower covered sheet in the background, Maple sheds like a Maple tree sheds leaves in the fall...

My 112 lbs yellow lab sits in the back seat when he travels. Doesn't like riding so only goes every now and then.

^^^ He is a lot bigger now..lol That was back around Thanksgiving. We did find out that he is to big to sit up front, because he makes the seatbelt alarm go off..haha But I've faced the fact that I have a Bulldog that is white and sheds like crazy. Not fun trying to get all that hair off the seats.

My folks bought a Taco last year and they put in Marathon seat covers. https://www.marathonseatcovers.com/

I've been really impressed with theirs so I've got some on order for my truck. The waterproofing is no joke and the fit is amazing, the pics on the site don't do them justice.

Kimber usually just sleeps on the back seat but she'll pop up and ride shotgun when she takes the notion. She's an office dog and pretty darn spoiled; I do believe she'd look at me cross-eyed if I put her in the bed :)

Here's my boy. He rides in the back seat. I've been thinking about buying a pet hammock because hair gets everywhere! If the window isn't down atleast halfway, he whines the entire trip.
