I can't for the life of me figure out how to wire in the Ali express three wire controller (red, white, black wires)

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001270454264.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.45224c4dqY8mGc

I'm trying to get it working with a Joying head unit on a 2008 Taco

    The "steering wheel control" says:
    RED - ACC
    WHITE - KEY
    BLACK - GROUND

    The Joying Headunit says:
    RED - ACC
    BLACK - GROUND
    BROWN - KEY

I'm terrible with electrical stuff, but I've tried splicing them all together like this with no luck

    RED > RED
    WHITE > BROWN
    BLACK > BLACK

I see 2 Key wires on that headunit?
    Key1 and Key2.

Other than that, I got nothing:confused:

BTW, how did you wire the headunit to the OEM harness?

I don’t know anything about those two units, but I do know what Ground is. Did you take those two Ground wires to chassis ground? A screw on the metal of the body? That’s ground. i can’t read that label clearly though is that saying +12V ground? that’s not clear to me at all.

Plugs right in. I don't have steering wheel controls though and figured this would be a cheap solution.
