Hi guys I know this is a newby question but, has any one actually experienced having a long travel set up on a 6 speed transmission? Wondering if it's as fun with an automatic transmission. Basically, on a drivers point of view is it harder to hit the dunes on 6speed trans then it would with a auto? For example; shifting gears issue, stalling, or what ever. But I hope u guys get the idea. What are your guys opinion and experiences?

it depends on the skill of the driver and manual transmission kung fu

what matters more than any of that really,

are the tires and tire pressure

the type of sand and it's angle of repose
is it ocean dunes, beach, desert....

    anyway....tranny matters not a lot, tires/pressure matter a bunch
