How does gum get here?

Just saw this after work today, wth lol.

Probably came off the tire. The centrifugal force and heat stretched the gum out and the excess string was carried by the force upward toward the top with the rotation.

 

On hot days, I've seen long strings of gum get thrown in the air like the cheese on a pizza hut commercial. My money says it was on the road.

I was eating lunch outside of Home Maid in Azeka place Kihei,HI. I saw two hens in the parking lot both racing for what they thought to be a "Tasty nugget of goodness"

They arrived at the treat at the same moment and each of them got beak loads of hot sticky used gum. All stringy and sticky. They both were frantically rubbing their goobered beaks on the pavement trying to scrape away the gum.

Ha ha ha ha!!
