How does my lift setup look?

Hi All, millionth lift thread here...

    I have a 2019 TRD DCSB OR 4x4

Just wanted to get some input on how this setup looks and/or if i'm missing anything.
I did as much research as I can, a few things did leave me more confused than clear though. One thing is for sure, I did call and cancel the spacer lift I had scheduled in favor of the 5100's after reading up. I'm now scheduled for the following to be done today.

The shop that is doing the work & providing the parts will be installing the following:

    Bilstein 5100's, set at 0
OME Coil Springs (not sure if they are using the 887's or 888's yet. I requested 2" up front)
    Rear Single AAL (+1.5")

For tires/wheels they are installing the 17" TRD OEM wheels with 265/70/17 Wildpeaks.
I do fear the tires will look dwarfed with this lift but I wanted to avoid any sort of rubbing.

I came across a few threads about a diff drop kit, shop told me it's not needed for this lift at all. Should I be looking to do this down the road?

Also the ECGS bushing threads have me a bit worried. Is this just a case of "only happened to a few" or something that will need to be replaced.

    Thank you,

I got nervous about ecgs and just had it done at the same time. Compared to all the other components it’s pretty cheap. Just my thought on it.

Lots of people are having issues with the 888 coils sagging. Might have to do with 4wd trucks only due to extra weight but not sure. Hopefully yours don't sag

I personally would set it on the 4 th perch, keep the factory coils and add a one inch rear block. I did this setup and kept a slight rake, I never haul anything and light trail riding, it rides awesome, same as my neighbors truck who is on his second set of OME sagging springs. He added his factory springs back in,he swears it rides the same and the lift was where he was at before the sag. I also did the ECGS clamshell bushing to be on the safe side. As far as front diff drop I did it because the off road shop suggested it as I got a little over 2 inches in the front and did a rear drop as well. I added 265/70/17s Toyo Open Country AT2s SL on 4runner Pro wheels. The size of the tire looks perfect, not to small. The biggest issues In didn't want to deal with was a calibration issue, drop in gas mileage, transmission shift points and power loss. I didn't change the rotating mass of the wheels so mileage was never an issue and my GPS and speedo are both reading the same.

Do the ECGS bushing if you're swapping suspension......especially if you aren't doing it yourself haha. It was a bitch to do and if i had the chance to do it again i'd pay someone else to do it.

Ive been looking into simple lifts, yours sounds exactly what I would do. I just had thought preloading the OE springs wasn't such a good idea.

Does it bang on harsh bumps like pot holes?

What rear shocks did you use with the 1" block?

I don’t think the tires will look “dwarfed”. Lots of hullabaloos about tire size, when you get them on your truck you will like them regardless.

Thanks for the input everyone, it actually came out just how I wanted. The tires look just right to me and I don't have to deal with any rubbing. I also don't feel a drastic loss in power. The truck rides smooth and is not as harsh as I was expecting from comments. It's a more confiden I'll end up doing the ECGS bushing soon just for piece of mind but that's about it.

I just hope i don't have any of the sagging issues you guys are mentioning.

I posted some pics in the "What have you done to your 3rd Gen" thread. Here are some.

Oh wow it was already in the shop. I was thinking you were still deciding on the setup.
Looks good. Hope the springs hold up!

Looks great! Try to report back with similar pics to compare after springs settle in.

For those who are saying OME sag a lot, is that with added weight from armor or stock?

One thing I never understood is the impact of pre-loading an OR coil. They are progressive, so does this mean preloading them would tend to bind the coil, or possibly result in a really harsh ride as the spring rate is not linear? I assume 4th notch is 1.55" which would look good with a 265 70 17.

Yeah I posted this in the AM and had an appointment in the afternoon, wanted to get some last minute thoughts. Thank you! If they do sag maybe I'll just go up 1 notch from 0 on the 5100's. My only question now is should i get the alignment done now or wait a few hundred miles

I put my lift on, on a Friday and had a appointment set up for right away Saturday morning for the alignment. Depending how far everything is off it doesn’t take long to mess up a set of tires.

Gotcha, I plan on swinging by the shop today to get it done. I just don't want to have it get out of wack after it settles. The truck drives straight and does not wander at all on the highway so I hope it's not off by too much.
