Yup i know but have been using it for over 10 years , i wish it was but i just can't force myself to pay $.15 more a gal

$2.99 / gallon with 10% ethanol.
$3.80 / gallon without ethanol...only sold at one gas station way out in the country side, 5 miles outside of town.

 

All grades of gas are the same no matter where you buy it. It’s the additives that are different. That tanker that delivers theregular unleaded to Shell gets their gas from the same “rack” that Sam’s gets their regular unleaded from. They buy from whoever is the cheapest that day.

$4.39- $4.59 in Truckee. Just heard about a lawsuit being filed for price fixing

 

Filled up yesterday at $4.37/gal for Chevron 91....yes, $4.37. In 5 weeks another nickel gets added thanks to this Kommi state and worthless population that likes to spend other people’s money.

Don’t get me started...6 months and counting until I leave this state in the rear view mirror.

 

Well damn, where did you get that price from? I filled up close to $200 (pump cuts off at $100 and I have to run twice) it would have been worth the trip a little further for that price.

 

Right around $2.60 here for 87. Northeast MA and southeast ME.

This has always been said over and over again, but there is more of a difference than one would expect. I worked for a dealer as a mechanic that required servicing the fuel filters every 40k miles. I was always amazed at the difference from how dirty and plugged up one filter was to another, so I started asking the customers where they fueled, sadly enough costo had some of the dirtiest fuel and crud would just spill out of the filters. Guess which had the cleanest? Chevron and shell.

This is all personal experience from hands on and not some BS myth I'm throwing around, so my information can be useful to someone or looked at with a grain of salt, but when I recommend fuel to people, I use and recommend what I know has the less dirt like particles in it .

Edit: and to keep it on topic my area just jumped to $4.02/gal.
