    We do one gift at a time and even though we have to many gifts under the tree....(mom goes crazy each year) we are always done by like 8...lol

    my moms family insists on one at a time, my dad and i like to speed things up a little and let 2 or 3 people open their gifts at once. takes too long one-by-one for my family.

    Well here we pick a Santa to hand stuff out, this year was my Mom. Then we let the girls open one to show it off then go around the room, or who ever jumps in to open something.
    We tried the free-for-all one time, ended up loosing a knife and some cash. Needless to say that stopped.

    my wife likes the full attention when she gives out gifts. It was kind of difficult with multiple 2-4 year olds freaking out, wanting to open everything as quickyl as possible.
