I just purchased a brand new black single cab 09 Tacoma 4 x 4 today. Im trying to decide on a rim and tire combo and think I have decided on the 265/70/17 w/ either a 8 or 9 inch wheel Seems that the biggest tire combo that will work with no trimming/lift. Im still unsure about the color though. I think the black on black would look sweet but i do some riding in the woods and huntin and will occasionally get the truck muddy and have to clean these babies. How durable are black painted wheels holding up to mud and the cleaning off of all of it? Thats my only concern. Im also in the market for a new toolbox and need one quick for work so I gotta make up my mind fast because I think that my wheels and tool box would look better matching up. This is an awesome site by the way. Some sweet tacomas on here!

I've had mine painted for 7 months or so and the only rash I've gotten was from some medium to high intensity wheeling.

Cleaning has been no issue- Including using chemicals and what not.
