So, I need to replace my stock headlight bulbs and I have never done it before. Not on the Tacoma nor on any other vehicle I've owned. It looks easy according to the manual but most things look easy on paper. So is it really that easy? Is there enough room to change it or do I need to remove the washer fluid tank and battery? Or should I remove the entire headlight to do it? Any tips for changing the bulbs?

    Hi DPak,

I changed both headlights on my 06 x-runner recently and it was fairly easy. Just had to remove protective rubber boot and then unclip the metal spring holding in the bulb............not to complicated but is a tight fit for large wrist or hands.
    Good Luck
