How easy to swap bucket seats for bench seat in a regular cab?

I want the bench seat and I haven't bought a truck yet. Can this be done? I figure all parts are interchangeable. One thing I'm worried about is the seatbealt for the middle seat since it attaches to the rear firewall of the truck.

Anyone know anyone who's done this swap?

I figure I will need the bench seat itself, the entire center console piece, and the seatbelt. Are the driver and passenger seatbelts the same? I'm thinking I might need the rear trim piece because it will have a cutout for the seatbelt.

Any help greatly appreciated.

If I do this, I'll have buckets for sale and I'm sure someone will be quite happy to know that.

 

Apparently, its been considered or attempted with some problems such as air bags, seat belts, and floor hole alignment.
