Bro we are past that. Where in the Boston area are you so I know to not be on the road with you?

That's toast. If the rest of the frame is workable, you can get it welded up relatively cheap - compared to reframing.

Chuck it on facebook marketplace, see if someone will take it.

hhaha, thanks for the shout out. It’s been so long since I’ve been on TW I honestly forgot about all that! I knew I was famous (infamous) for the powered rear sliding window mod, but totally forgot about the diff bearing thing!

    Two questions
Did you get a notice from Toyota to have a frame inspection done?
If so, why did you not take care of it years ago?

Autorust.com is making caps for our trucks now. If I knew how to post a link I would, but looks like the section you need is about $230.

Dont get me wrong its bad but personally drive the shit out of it until something stupid or hard to fix goes and then just junk it. also dont take it on a major highway

No, obviously. It is dangerous to you, and to others. If common sense isn't your guide, how about liability. This isn't even a 'close call'.

I can understand what your getting at but if this is the only hole then this truck is completely drivable. personally I would take my chances

Bet you lunch it's not. And just because there's no perforation yet doesn't mean other parts of the frame are strong.

Whack it with a hammer and I bet you get lots of holes.
