I'm about 50 miles round trip. Coming in can take between 45 minutes to 2 hours. Going home takes at least an hour and has taken up to 2.5 hours. Boston traffic sucks

Fortunately, I get to avoid the Distressway but lately the Pike and 128 have been complete cluster-F's. I couldn't deal with 93 every day, I don't know how people do it.

For me at least its metro DC area. I spend about four hours a day behind the wheel. Sometimes longer, rarely less.

If I went to just work and back it would be 3 mi. round trip, but I pick up my son from school so that makes it about 10 mi. a day.

Love having no commute, and only 68k miles on my 04 : )

About 8 miles one way. All relatively rural.

I can easily make it into 25 miles by going the long way. Sometimes I do that for reasons I can't explain.

23 miles one way all freeway. It was closer to 50 before I bought my house. I used to commute from San Carlos, CA to tiburon. 1 hour each way with city driving and highway plus bridge toll and back country windy roads with cyclists.

12 miles round trip, city streets, stop signs, traffic lights, 30mph about 10 - about 10 - 12 minutes. The furthest I ever commuted was about 60 miles round trip. The only thing that should matter to you is, how much is your time worth?

Power to you! I live just north of the Patriot's stadium so on days there's a big concert or home game, my commute home can get pretty stressful. I also work just north of Fenway so the same thing can happen if I'm leaving work when a game lets out.

I'm driving an average of 80 miles (about 40 each way) a day. Mostly open highway with ocasional bumper to bumper highway traffic depending on time... I do this on my daily driver 03 Honda civic (5 speed manual) and been doing it for over 10 years... so driving is not an issue for me... I don't pay for gas (company gas card) but if I did pay for my own gas and/or if I had to drive the taco on 33s... I would probably have a different mind set

25mi each way through the countryside. Don't mind it a bit, gives me time to relax and listen to some tunes.

About 20 feet from my bedroom to my office down the hall. One flight of stairs down to the kitchen for coffee.
