Been up to 90 in my truck. If I was interested in speed, I would have gotten an X-Runner or a car.
I did bury the 110mph speedo on a 95 Tercel. Amazingly, it wasn't scary, but that little 1.5 was screaming.

I just greased it again Tuesday night, and it's so clean underneath, everything is visible and accessible, it will be hard to go find mud ! Even my buddy (who hates Toyotas) says it well built and has stout suspension parts.

Concrete Jedi, you need to rev that truck a little more. Your Toyota will appreciate the extra love and care.

    Yes, a 3.0L V6. . Very good engine, I might add (I had a '91 Taurus SHO: 220hp/200lbft).

Yup. When I came back from the sierras, my brother (in his 07 V6 tacoma prerunner) felt like driving back the whole way at 90-100 mph. I had no choice but to follow him, and our trucks handled those speeds like nothing. Felt like I was doing 60. Unfortunately, we had no fuzz detector and we both got a speeding ticket.

yeah i realize the dangers of going that fast on a truck, i was just curious to see if its worth upgrading. and that pic for some reason scared me honestly. dont know why.

my friend told me a lil saying: " You drive fast, you die fast."

i hate those lil ricers who think trucks cant go over 100, which is my motive anyway. id just love to run over a civic who thought it was all that....

plus i already have my own dose of speed, my 1998 eclipse. Easily climbs to 175mph. lots of major upgrades on that car which is why i rarely drive it. only 30k on that beast and its already 10 years old.

Do you really think that Toyota (or any other vehicle manufacturer) would sell, or be allowed to sell, a vehicle that lifts up and rolls end over over at it's maximum speed? I'm pretty sure that they would have tested all of the different parameters to make sure this isn't going to happen.
