About 10 years ago I had a 18 foot Mirage Ski Racer with a Merc 2.5 liter outboard. Would swing a 26 pitch about 9200 rpms and run mid/high 90's on GPS. Then the kid came along........

What Kind of Engines do you have ? & Boat ? I Read a couple of Forum About that, & the average say they won about 4-5 miles. What is your speed before & After ? for shure i don't want to spend money for nothing... !

My work boat is a 19' Whaler with an 80 hp that hauls ass. The thing is literally stern heavy and is prone to sinking. I have no GPS, but it is easily capable of going more than fast enough.

As for my whitewater kayak, depends how far I am falling ;)

Wrong! They handle phenomenal! A good friend of mine had a Champion Bass boat that handled way better than his previous Ranger, he sold it and got the Stroker....not even in the same class, until you drive or ride in one, it's hard to say...well, I've ridden in all three! Now you know. Don't get me wrong Rangers are awesome boats, but not in the same class as a Stroker or a Champion IMO!

I should say they all handle better than my Baja in rough water!

Heavy stuff big tires drives like hell
    About 7-9 knots, wind depending.

The ability to traverse the planet without having to refuel is very nice.

About 45 - 50mph right now but the prop is to shallow so the motor wants to over rev (chevy 350).
