I have a pending deal on one but the seller is getting cold feet on the sale. But, I still want one .
What would be a reasonable price for an extremely clean one with less than 150k ?

    thanks !

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Offer the seller as much money as it takes they might have just found out they are giving the truck away.

Any price the buyer is willing to pay is reasonable to the buyer and seller.

    Sellers Market !!!

    You don`t mention any specs.

What does extremely clean mean to you? I am sure we are very far apart on that.

The regional area can cause prices to vary a great deal.

I am quite happy with my $500.00 2000 Tacoma I know just what I bought.

Clean as in minimum rust. I’d be happy with a base model.Must be a stock reg cab 4x4.

I gave 5000 bucks for mine less than a year ago. Saw it in the parking lot and went and found the young man that owned it. It wasn't for sale but I made him an offer and 5 was his counter offer. Thought I payed too much, but looking at the prices on this forum and others I think I did ok. It's worth whatever someone will pay for it, lol. Screenshot_20221121-155501_Facebook.jpg

Seems like a steal considering prices , I’ve seen lately. I offered $8500 and I thought that was fair and so did the seller.

They are still out there. Especially on the west coast. Here is a good example of what they are going for. This one is in Reno.

Reasonably clean regular cabs seem to go anywhere from 5-10k; maybe a little more if it’s exceptionally clean and low-mileage.

In any case, maintenance history and lack of rust and body damage is more important than how many miles the truck has. I’ve seen some well looked after trucks running better at 300k miles than a beat one at 120k.

I’m also wary of the 3RZ in a truck that old unless you have good compression test results and/or a history of valve adjustments. They’re notorious for burning exhaust valves since nobody wants to mess with the adjustments; it’s a PITA shim over bucket design.

I do love the single cabs though. IMO they’re more fun to drive than the extra cabs and are probably better off-road too. The 2.7 is also a great engine if you take care of it; it’s well suited to the truck, especially in the woods. The ride is gonna be rougher with the 103” wheelbase though.
