Does a TRD license plate frame count as a mod?
Here in Georgia, there's no duty to inform, so given that my knee obscures the weapon completely, it would likely not even come up. Depends on the scenario though. Any situation where an officer might be approaching from a different angle, or giving a hard look inside the truck, I'd likely give him a heads up. Some people just hand over their CCW along with their license and let them know right off the bat. In my opinion, that's unnecessary. Logically, a bad guy won't tell, and a good guy isn't dangerous anyway, so it's kind of moot. At any rate, in this state, you don't need a license to carry inside the car so it's all legal.

Here in Utah your vehicle is a extension of your house so you can have it in plain sight or concealed unloaded or chambered totally up to you I have mine chambered 24/7 and its up to you to tell the officer yours carrying or not I always tell them the response I get usually is if I don't see yours you won't see mine haha

In Texas, you are required to hand over your DL and LTC if stopped. That usually causes them to ask if you are carrying and you can say yes and tell them where it is. Then they give you a verbal warning and let you go.

I like the strap system. Where did you get them? Also, it's hard to tell how the gun is attached? It looks like a metal carabiner of some sort.

Got the straps at Walmart (where else), it's a Serpa holster bolted onto a piece of plastic, (Dollar General cutting board, cut to size), the whole thing is attached with velcro to the sides of the console. I have the same setup in my other car also.

It's legal to carry in Canada, but I'm having a hard time where to put it.... Just doesn't seem to work for quick reaction time when in the console.... I was thinking maybe a dash mount might be better...

    What do you guys think..??

Not quite sure what you are trying to say...!

The REAL problem is "where do I keep the rocks" for the slingshot..(ammo).. they have to be "at the ready" .. just in case a rabbit decides to attach the truck...(big problem around here)..:canada:

Don't understand why you need a holster in your truck? My pistol is on my person when I'm out and about. No judging and not trying to start a pissin contest.

Some people don't like IWB or OWB holsters when driving, and they may not be licensed.
