yes but it also applies to the majority of people so it seems. They want that momentary satisfaction of getting a new truck. Then they have to start paying for it.

How about at 0% interest when you make just short of 90K a year and have to get to work everyday in a snowy climate?

    It's all perspective.

More then I'd like. But I got a badass reliable truck that I trust to take me to work everyday. I'm doing very well on money managment so I'm not too worried, all though I could have got a better intrest rate then I did through TFS, I have good credit so I got to look into refinancing it or something for a better rate.

On a good note, I got offered 30k on a trade in yesterday which is more then I owe, so I'm happy to know I can get out of my truck loan at any moment!

Agreed. The dudes that are patting themselves on the back for paying cash for the truck.... well that sounds great till they realize they could have put some money down on the truck and put the rest in market at which time they would have gotten a pretty solid return of 17% each year over the past 3 years, which is close to 50% cumulative return, but hey.. to each is own.

Not sure is what confusing brother. Instead of paying cash for a truck. Put that money in the market. Get a solid return.

Yikes, I paid just over 43K CAN all in for my 2014 DCLB Sport Premium. And we have to pay PST in BC on new vehicles compared to Alberta? What gives? Weaker CAN dollar compared to when I bought mine?

I owe about 25K on it still through financing. I'll be finished paying it off in 3.5 years at the latest.

After taxes fees and warranty my 09 came to 26k. I have 11k left on the truck I've had it for less than two years. My mods come from side jobs and ot at work. Spent close to 7k on the truck this summer at least 70 hr weeks have something to show for besides being tired

I owe $11K left on mine and $8K on my wifes CRV... my interest rate sucks on my truck because it was a used vehicle, but the wifes is great because i refinanced after i got it at the dealer. im going to be refinancing the Taco for a better rate.
