Sold my paid off 2009 for the typical Taco resale value. Bought new truck with same payments. Part of left over cash = mods. 1.29% helped.

Put half down on the truck and financed the rest. I will make more money leaving the money where it is than I would paying off the truck and letting my savings take a hit...Trying to buy a house, so any cash in the bank is a good thing...

I pay for everything on credit cards (to include any truck mods), but in 8 years have never not paid off my balance before its due date...I have to have the cash in hand before making the purchase on my card...

A word to the wise...it takes money to make money. Save anything you can while still enjoying yourself. Never live beyond your means and you will always come out ahead...

I don't have any money to do mods yet. I bought this truck with insurance money from my "just paid off truck" I totaled and most of my savings so I'm broke. I have a stereo system from my other truck that I bought with two AR-15s I sold back in Febuary and March. Debating whether to get a line adapter for the stock HU to use with my speakers and amps or just buy a new HU.
