I wouldn't go to plano, traffic sucks.

Id look into flower mound, highland village, double oak, and lantana also. That area is really nice and expanding with all new builds.

Little elm is another nice option

The northern parts of Carrollton are nicer than some of the southern areas. Grew up just north of Frankford and Josey. Went to Lewisville schools, had plenty of friends from church that went to Carrollton schools - I'll just say I'm happy that I was north of the Carrollton/Lewisville ISD line, even though I had a longer drive to school.

The Colony is to the north, Lewisville to the north west, Plano in the other direction, tons of good suburbs to choose from. Depending on where you'll be working, there are both better and worse places to look to settle.

Yeah go north. I'm in Lake Dallas just north of Lewisville Lake. Check out Coppell, parts of Lewisville toward Flower Mound and Highland Village. In laws live in FM. LISD is a good district. If you have $ try Bartonville and Argyle. Newman Smith seemed better than Turner. But I'd still try for Hebron.

I dunno bout Carrollton but I was born and raised in Ponder, just outside of denton. And just recently moved back out to Ponder. Denton, lake Dallas and surrounding areas are all good as well.
