Taco47 thanks for the quick reply. I have been looking around the last few days and have convinced myself of the same by reading all the reviews. Exedy or Aisin. All the F1s, XTDs, Kupps etc. get horrible reviews and last for less than 10k, especially the way I will beat on the new clutch. I think i'll replace it with another Aisin that should hopefully last me another 200k. Priced em out at $160 for a OEM Exedy or $280 for Aisin on ebay. How much better is the Exedy stage 1?

Haven't broken it in completely so it's hard to say. So far it feels like a fresh asin Oem set with a stronger grab. The catch point on the Oem one has about 4 inches of feather room. The stage 1 is about 2 inches. I'd prefer the stock pedal feel of the Oem set for crawling if you're not re geared. I'll write a review after some more seat time

Sweet, thanks for the info. I think I would be more inclined to get a stage 1 then. I'm more into acting like a trophy truck driver not afraid to crash (bull bar) then a rock crawler ha ha ha. I'm sure I'll be on here bitching my ass off when I'm half way through putting it in though! Looking forward to reading your review.

Does LCE performance make a clutch for the 6 speed?

exedy stage 1 checking in after the break in and it feels solid. easy clutch pedal with a strong grip. done a few 4-5k clutch dumps in 4lo on a hill climb with only good things to say.
