yeah but within specs doesnt mean a whole lot. It needs to be ideal... and wondered if one of the experts on this site could chime in.

How's it drive? From what I've read here having the toe and camber at close to 0 and the caster at around 2.9 is ideal after a lift. Problem is you can't get close to that caster with the stock upper control arms. Does your truck track straight now?

It tracks fine...maybe a little to the right? but they couldnt get close to the caster that would be ideal..
I stayed with the shortest lift possible to avoid getting UCAs, but looks like that just isnt possible.

Thanks. You answered my question exactly. i just thought that I wouldnt need them if I stayed under 3". or about 2". Thats not the case I guess...
I would have lifted it a little more if i knew i was gonna need UCAs.
    thanks guys!

yea i would guess so.... does the truck drive straight or have any bump steering, or feel squirley at high speeds???
the toe being off is what will wear out your tires faster though

    Good advice! thanks.
Im not looking into UCAs quite yet. Maybe in a couple months.
But what does it take to adjust the UCA's.
How do you know if they can adjust the UCAs?

on a stock truck the only adjustments are the cams from the factory....but they can only do so much......
on the light racing uca's the ball joint is adjustable in like 8 positions to give you + or - 2* of caster and the top has a groove to adjust the camber
but see how it drives first

oh and to adjust the l.r. uca is very very easy it is just many many people are to stupid or in to much of a rush to take the extra few mins to adjust them......
