Do these numbers look right to y’all? Truck drives straight but at 70-75 mph it has a vibration and is more noticeable when I slightly steer to the passenger side, almost as if there’s resistance or something. I can feel it in the steering wheel and I’ve already had the ECGS swap. Any thoughts?

I never go by those readings - mine has been to the dealer twice since purchase in August for alignment and my steering wheel is still cocked slightly left. The service writers love showing you those GREEN readings - which mean nothing if the truck doesn't track straight.

I think these dealer mechanics are poorly trained - not all but many. Their instructors teach them to get these things green, and they're done.... There's no test driving to verify the truck is going straight. I took a bunch of auto classes so I'm pretty familiar with the alignment racks and how they work.

Have you conclusively eliminated tires and wheels from the vibration issue?

I haven’t eliminated tires yet, I’m going to rotate soon maybe another 1000 miles or so. I just worry that the shop who did my ECGS bearing could have over or under torqued my drivers side bearing. It gets rough when I steer slightly to the passenger side.

My truck is exactly the same. Took it back and said it’s all good. Steering wheel is still off center. But at least nothing else is messed up. So I’ll leave it.

Caster is pulling the truck to the left, so your steering will be tugging to the right.

It's hard to balance caster with a lift, these numbers arent terrible.

As others have said, if you're lifted then being "green" isn't the correct numbers. Assuming you're lifted, your caster should be 3*-4* (closer to 4* the better). Do you have aftermarket UCA? If not, I would suggest getting some. I really like the SPCs because then everything is adjustable, but there are many good ones out there.

I'd push that to the 4* caster. They say 3* will get you back to stock, I always like it a little more. The tire shop that I have do my alignment are very proficient adjusting these arms and they do the same.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I think I have alignment issues with my 2020 OR,purchased mid November.Totally stock. At highway speeds you gotta be correcting the steering all the time to maintain a straight line.A slight variance in the road surface or a gust of wind throws you of your line.I had it back to the dealer in late dec and had the alignment checked, was told the toe was slightly off and adjusted.I wasn't given a printout, it may have helped very slightly.I replaced the original Goodyear kevlars with a set of Michelin X-ice and thought that helped as well, but I'm thinking i'm having the placebo effect.A couple of weeks ago I took it to an indy shop and was told the toe was out again and adjusted.Probably a variance in alignment machines.I got a printout this time.Sorry I cant post it here, but my castor values are Left 1.73 and Right 1.97.Do you think these values are causing my issues. Are the stock control arms adjustable for castor?I drive cars for a few dealerships, dealer trades etc...and have never experienced this on other new vehicles...But I did buy a used low mileage 2013 Mustang convertible in 2018 and it had similar road manners...a new set of tires and an alignment(toe was out) cured it.Thanks for any input or info.
