One of my favorite tracks to play in my truck is "Prison Sex". It sounds pretty good. The bass gets a little sloppy when playing certain Mudvayne tracks.

The bass from the JBL sub is ok. It's not tight and punchy but like I said, better than a stock toyota. Aftermarket speakers and an amp are always the way to go. The Head unit is ok, I prefer it. That way no one tries to break in to steal an aftermarket one. Now as for the 6speed, its great but can be a pain in traffic and yes, it is a Tool avatar.

The speakers are also JBL along with the amp. I have not seen the speakers so I don't know what quality they are but they are going to be replaced soon.

I like mine just fine. One of the things though that does bug me is the sound quality in the back seat. The front sounds awesome but you can definitely tell a difference in the back. I also replaced the sub cause it was a joke lol, put in a 12.

I really like the integrated bluetooth I use it every day and none of my called parties ever complain about the call quality. If they did it would have been a total loss.

    Good point.

Yes. What I found to be most effective, is to let the trial subscription expire and wait for them to call you and send you postcards. When they called me I told them to remove my number from their database and they are not allowed to call me, but they may send me mail.

Every 2 months I get offers from them to activate a new subscription. The deals they offer in the mail are pretty good.

When my XM trial is up I am going to try to get that $77 a year deal. I don't know if they still honor that anymore.

HD Radio will be the future. A lot of stations if not all, broadcast in HD now. That will surely slow down XM.

x2! I wonder what that equals to in inches. First taco i've seen running that size.

JBL suit me fine. I am not crazy with loud music and it help me to hear better with my hearing aids. I listen stock radio on tacoma w/o JBL, it didn't suit me very good. Mostly I listen to XM or CD, not much with local radio. Local radio sometime too static and low volume. I am XM member since 2004.

Thanks! I thought there were rubbing issues with running 35"s on a taco?

I believe a 6" lift and trimming is required to run anything bigger than 285's (33").

I had some problems with mine when I first got it so it left a bad taste in my mouth. Backround noise from the sub which was finally fixed after a tsb sounds fine now. The CD player stopped working after about a month but got fixed by warranty. Haven't had a problem since, and it sounds pretty good.
