Well, I'll find out eventually. I've complained and had it logged on paper three times, gone for a ride with the lead tech who heard it and said "Normal". If it blows up I hand that paperwork to my lawyer and someone gets me a new diff. Or, if the lawyer costs too much I'll go get a pumpkin out of a Ford from the junkyard and stuff it under there. I'm not going to worry about it.

I have 42k on it, and besides regular maintence nothing has gone wrong no issues. My only complaint is my leafs are pretty squashed, may have something to do with all the firewood I’ve gotten. Anyone have there leafs replaced through warranty ? BE7655D9-D29B-459E-8DA5-8F9F512085C3.jpg

Tune it man! (OVTune) You won't regret it. Makes it drive like it should have from the factory.

I tried to have the leaves replaced under warranty on my 2011 but it was a no go. 2 different dealerships insisted I prove I had never overloaded it. How do you prove that? I ended up having a friend at an independent shop replace them with after market "heavey duty" ones and was very happy with the results. The backend rise and front end nosedive during heavy braking that the truck had from day 1 was gone and it went from dropping almost 3 inches when hooking up my trailer to a little over an inch. The ride with and empty bed did get a little rougher, but switching to bilstein 5100's tamed that very well.

40k on my 18 and all’s good so far. Off-road quite a bit. Almost sank in a water crossing and got inside wet. Gone in snow and mud. Dragged the bottom over stuff. Still solid. “Knocks on wood”
